Step 1

Start with the course finder so you know whether the national course alone fits your state or whether state-specific education is also available.

Step 2

Enroll in the national course

Use the 20 Hour SAFE Comprehensive course as your national education foundation.

Step 3

Complete timed course activities

Work through lessons, required discussions, quizzes, and case studies in the course sequence.

Step 4

Pass the course final exam

Complete the comprehensive final exam after the required course activities are finished.

Step 5

Receive NMLS credit reporting

After successful completion, education credit is submitted to NMLS within the stated reporting window.
