Yes. Our 20 Hour SAFE Comprehensive course satisfies the national SAFE education requirement recognized by NMLS for all states. If your state requires additional state specific education, you can complete that requirement separately through a different approved provider. Many students choose to complete the national 20 hour course with us because we offer an affordable option for the national requirement, then complete any required state specific education separately through a different approved provider. After you complete our course, we will report your 20 hours to NMLS.
Yes. Our 20 Hour SAFE Comprehensive MLO Prelicensure Course satisfies the national SAFE education requirement recognized by NMLS.
Not always. Some states require state specific education in addition to the national 20 hour SAFE course. You can review NMLS's state specific education requirements here: NMLS State Specific Education Requirements. If your state has a state specific requirement, you will need to complete that requirement separately through a different approved provider unless we specifically offer that approved state course.
After you first access the course, you have 13 days to complete it. This timing requirement is tied to NMLS course rules, so the original 13 day window cannot be extended.
If you are unable to complete the course within the 13 day window, contact us and we can reset your registration back to the beginning. That gives you a new 13 day completion window.
No. You will not lose access to your account. You have up to two years to complete the course, but each course attempt must be completed within 13 days of first accessing it. If you have course progress and the 13 day window expires, that progress will expire and we will reset your registration back to the beginning so you can start again with a fresh 13 day window.
